The 2012 Raystown Rendezvous falls after the Columbus Day weekend this year, so hopefully the Senoia Loop campground will be less crowded with RVers this year. The "dates" for the event are Oct. 12-13-14, but many people arrive earlier, and some even stay until the Monday after the weekend. 

There is a thread on the event on http://www.paddling.net  right now. Hope to see you there!

The 2011 Raystown Rendezvous is the weekend of October 7, 8, and 9th, at Senoia Loop at Raystown Lake. Of course, many people arrive before the weekend, some as much as a week beforehand.  Yeah, it's that much fun; they want to be there as long as they can, and not miss a minute of being immersed in canoe-culture.

Raystown Rendezvous 2010 is the weekend of October 8, 9, and 10th this year. Some people arrive earlier (as early as Monday October 6th) and some stay as late as the following Monday, which is Columbus Day this year. Hopsing and I hope to arrive on Wednesday, Oct. 8th. We'll have an informal rigatoni and sauce dinner (tossed salad, bread and butter) for whomever is already at the campsite on Thursday evening around 5 or 6 pm. All welcome.
